A Warm Welcome

Welcome to Craigcare Albany from the Facility Manager, Erin McCawley, and her experienced and caring team of nursing staff. Erin will ensure that your stay with us is a rewarding one that is guided by our core values of passion, respect, warmth and attentiveness. Our staff take genuine pleasure in serving our residents and their loved ones.

Albany is the beating heart of the Great Southern Region of Western Australia. This peaceful, idyllic environment is a perfect location for a nursing home.

Our Facilities

Craigcare Albany is a purpose built 71-bed nursing home set in mature and beautiful gardens. Craigcare have a programme in place to develop the facility and improve its already extensive features. Already completed is the new Stirling Wing which provides a very modern and extensively equipped 12 bed respite unit. Melville Wing provides dementia specific care, in a safe and secure environment for residents.

There are also flexible residential units suitable for funded low care or retirement village residents either as a single person or married couple. These units are extremely well laid out with all accommodation on a single level. These units are an intrinsic part of the nursing home and our residents benefit from the same high level of care and attention from our staff as they would if they were residents of the nursing home itself. These units have been thoughtfully refurbished and upgraded to include a newly installed nurse call bell system. The units are secure and offer peace of mind for residents who wish to maintain some independence.

Our facility includes television and lounge rooms, dining room, therapy room and sun room as well as beautifully manicured native gardens throughout.
